Richardson, TX – [June 4, 2025] – InterFET Corporation, a long-standing leader in junction field-effect transistor (JFET) technology, proudly announces the release of its new line of JAN-equivalent JFETs, built and tested to meet the rigorous requirements of the MIL-PRF-19500 performance specification. These parts are intended for defense, aerospace, and high-reliability industrial applications where performance consistency and long-term availability are paramount.
These new products are manufactured and tested with stringent standards used in the JAN qualification process, including relevant test flows and screening protocols. While these new products are not officially certified JAN devices, these offerings provide the marketplace with a highly reliable alternative at a time when certified JAN device sources are increasingly scarce and consequently very expensive.
InterFET’s new JAN-equivalent line includes devices produced and screened to mirror the levels of:
- JAN – Basic compliance with MIL-PRF-19500 without additional screening
- JANTX – Enhanced screening for higher reliability
- JANTXV – Tighter screening with additional lot conformance testing
- JANS – Space-level screening, with the most rigorous reliability requirements
What It Is:
- Devices designed, built, and tested to MIL-PRF-19500 standards
- Equivalent screening and test methodologies to traditional JAN devices
- A new, dependable source of high-reliability JFETs
What It Isn’t:
- These are not QML-qualified or listed as official JAN-certified parts on the DLA’s QPL
- These parts are not supplied under a government contract nor do they carry the JAN prefix
